The Fellowship of Christian Athletes is making history. One by one they are changing millions of lives. It started in 1954 and has been challenging coaches and athletes off all ages to change the world for Jesus. Fellowship of Christian Athletes is known threw out the world. The FCA encourages people and empowers them to make a difference for Jesus Christ.
The main purpose for the FCA is to get the coaches and athletes saved and on fire for Jesus. Many schools like University of Florida and Hewitt Trussville city schools are trying to bring Jesus Christ back into their campuses. The vision for FCA is to see the world impacted for Jesus through the influence of coaches and athletes. At the heart of FCA are the Coaches. The FCA is trying to minister to these men and women by encouraging and equipping them to know and serve Christ.
Coaches at Hewitt Trussville city schools are trying to encourage their athletes and give them an example to follow. Coach Trotman is the leader of FCA at Hewitt Trussville Middle School. I emailed Coach Trotman and he told me this,” FCA is a Christian based organization that targets the spiritual development of student-athletes and coaches. We meet on Thursday mornings at 7:20 in the football locker room. I am in charge of the HTMS group called a "Huddle." The national FCA was started in the 1950's at the University of Alabama.” I just want to thank Coach Trotman for helping me with my information and all the people who helped me with my research.
